SYCOL's programme and framework is structured and taught across six key domains and each introduces a new set of content and skills to help leaders and staff build a resilient, self-improving organisation:
The Core Framework (CF) is a concise description of your organisation’s culture that needs to govern all your decision making and activity. The light-version (CFLV) contains three elements (Vision, Mission, Values), and the extended-version (CFEV) contains eight elements altogether.
The Principles of Leadership (POL) help your leaders and teams adopt a decentralised, effective, and consistent approach. Leadership is a behaviour, not a role, and requires practice. The POL provide you with the skills and knowledge to lead a supportive and successful organisation.
The Habits of Work and Learning (HOWLs) are a set of tracked skills and attitudes to support the mindset of all people and build a safe environment with an ambitious culture.
Establishing a culture of continuous improvement that supports all your staff to take initiative and explore solutions is essential for success. To achieve this, we help you implement regular innovation cycles that allow for effective collaboration between staff that gives everyone a say in creating new solutions.
Understanding the balance between alignment and autonomy is essential to ensure that you and your staff stay focused on your mission and standards and don’t get distracted by less important things.
